It all started on a good note as Ev. Eddy and Pastor Klaas had a talk show on our local T.V called Sayare where they outlined their vision.  Many who listened to the talk show confessed the visiting ministers had a passion for the lost souls and a deep desire to see peoples life changed

The long awaited crusade started on the 11th October with Evangelist Eddy van Russel as the main speaker. He challenged the crowd at Huruma grounds, to choose either serving God or Baal. God used him prophetically even to identify and come against the snake spirit that was opposed to the work of God in Eldoret

The crusade was well attended with over 100 people coming to the Lord. There were several testimonies from people being healed and set free by the power of God. For the first time the hosting church Christian Growth Centre recorded people had come to church as a result of a crusade. 

Three of our evangelists from Kampala, Uganda came to join us in this crusade. Martin Wandira, one of my spiritual sons had the opportunity to preach one evening.

Meeting with Business people

The meeting with some Christian business people was a success. In fact, we came together on several occasions during this trip to discuss and lay the groundwork for a new strategy for evangelism in this region of Africa. We are busy now to put this plan together. It is too early to make some announcements now, but as soon as we have it ready we will surely make you part of it. Meanwhile, please pray for us for wisdom, clarity, and continuation of the plan. 
 
Partnership
We had the privilege to strengthen and expand our partnership with Pastor Evans, Evelyn Shipala and their staff at Christian Growth Centre. A missions and prayer minded church. Both our ministries are working together to develop the new strategy for evangelism.

Challenges
 For every success, there are challenges. As the crusade started, we found that the sound system we hired was not adequate to reach the targeted group of people. Prices for a more powerful system were extremely high. We really need our own systems.

The free medical camp could not pick up because the drugs could not arrive in time. It will be held sometime later.
